Colm Lawless - Co-founder and Managing Director
Colm Lawless is a seasoned Public Affairs and Strategic Communications Consultant with a well-established career spanning both public and private sectors. His expertise lies in navigating complex political landscapes, crafting effective communication strategies, and fostering stakeholder engagement.
Colm's professional journey includes significant roles within the Government of Ireland, where he contributed to policy development and legislative processes. He also held a strategic position at Meta, enhancing his proficiency in corporate communications and public relations.
Beyond his consultancy work, Colm serves as the Chairman of Heritage Credit Union in Dublin, demonstrating his commitment to community development and financial governance. He is also a Director at the Swoboda Research Centre, reflecting his dedication to research and innovation in the financial sector.
Colm's multifaceted experience equips him with a unique perspective on public affairs, enabling him to deliver insightful advice and strategic solutions to clients across various industries.
Dr Alasdair McDonnell - Co-founder and Executive Director
Dr. Alasdair Mc Donnell is a former leader of the Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP) who served as a Member of Parliament (UK) for South Belfast for 12 years and as a member of the Northern Ireland Assembly for 17 year. As an MP he was an active member of the influential Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee. While serving as a Belfast City Councillor in the 1990’s Dr McDonnell was elected Deputy-Mayor of Belfast City in 1995 and in that role he was a driving force behind many of the key redevelopment and Economic recovery projects of that time including Laganside Development Corporation; the Belfast Gasworks redevelopment and the building of the Waterfront Hall.
Alasdair is a Medical Graduate of University College Dublin and in parallel with his political role worked for many years as a Family Doctor in the South Belfast inner city. Throughout his political career Dr McDonnell has been committed to building a stronger Economy and underpinning that Economic improvement with a robust Educational foundation. Alasdair is involved in a number of Educational initiatives, including the founding of the Goliath Trust a charity that funds and supports special education programmes in Primary (Elementary ) Schools in disadvantaged areas.
Alasdair’s ability to work across party lines, coupled with his extensive network built over many years in politics, makes him a significant asset for clients.
